Discover food and farming through a series of interactive displays and demonstrations in the show’s very own education tent – aiming to explain some of the latest thinking in agriculture and how farmers are trying to feed the nation whilst improving the environment.  A fascinating Aladdin’s cave of Agriculture that will appeal to all ages and degrees of expertise in all things farming.

Little Nippers Dog Display

Phill Gibbons and his team from Ridgeside invite you to see their fantastic lurchers and terriers do what comes naturally to them.

In the arena they will race at full speed chasing the electric lure. They offer a fast action-packed demonstration with an informative and humorous commentary by Phill. The public will have the chance to “have a go” with their own dogs – whatever their breed!

Defying Gravity BMX display

“Defying Gravity”, is new arena performance and  the only show of its kind in the world. It’s fresh, new and has never been seen before.

The performance combines freestyle BMX and the extreme sport of mountainboarding which results in a breathtaking, jaw dropping ariel performance which is suitable for audiences of all ages.

Horseboarding

Horseboarding UK is an extreme sport which combines horse riding and mountain boarding.

A rider on a horse tows the boarder on an off road skateboard or ATB around a twisting, turning course in the fastest time possible while reaching speeds of up to 28mph.

Voted ‘the sixth most extreme adventure sport in the world’ by Travel Supermarket.

Sheep Show

The extremely popular Sheep Show is informative and action packed. A humorous, educational and captivating live stage show all about sheep. Edu-tainment at its best Nine sheep breeds individually parade on stage. Not to miss the action packed sheep shearing and our amazing “Dancing Sheep”. Up to 3 x 30-minute shows per day. 

Climbing Wall

Test your strength and reach new heights on our exciting climbing wall – fun for all ages and a great challenge for adventurous visitors!

This is a FREE activity provided by the Arlesford Show.

Tichborne

Under 16s do not need a ticket for the show.

Yes, please select this option when purchasing tickets. 

The show is at Tichborne Park. SO24 0PN. Please follow the event signs on the day and do not rely on Sat Nav. There will be stewards who will direct you to the car parks. 

The show opens at 8.30am and closes at 6pm. Please click here for the provisional timetable 

Car parking is free for all visitors. Please follow the directions given by our stewards on arrival.

A free shuttle service will run from outside Alresford Surgery and from the Bus Stop at Robertson Road, to the Showground from approximately 9.30am. The last bus leaves the showground at approximately 5.00pm

Dogs are permitted to the show on the understanding that:

  1.  They will be kept on a short lead and under control
  2. Owners will clean up after them

With the exception of assistance-dogs, they are not permitted in Livestock areas or Horse rings. 

Those in possession of any dog may be asked to leave any area at the discretion of the Alresford Show stewards. If required, due to an incident or situation arising on the day, those in possession of a dog may be asked to leave any area, at the discretion of the Alresford Show organisers. 

There are two viewing grandstands located around the Main Ring. You DO NOT need a ticket. Please sit anywhere and enjoy the attractions.

Information and lost property information is available at the Secretary’s Tent located towards the centre of aisle C facing the Main Ring.

Yes, a Show Programme can be purchased on the day. There will be 3 dedicated sales tents around the showground. 

Smoking is not permitted in any tents of marquees on the Showground. 

Baby changing facilities are available in the tent situated in the Farmyard Play Area. 

Collingwood Services Ltd. are on site covering all first aid requirements. They also have an ambulance providing paramedic cover. They are located near aisle C.

Mobility scooters are located at the disabled parking area in the Members car park. These must be pre-booked with Basingstoke Shopmobility, telephone 01256 476066
