The Alresford Show is organised by the Alresford and District Agricultural Society.
The Alresford Show is quite simply a celebration of rural life and the communities which live in it. This one-day event (always the first Saturday in September), provides a great family day out which brings farming, agriculture and the local community together.
Join us to see the prize-winning animals, watch the horses compete and sample tasty local food and drink. You will be amazed by the vintage and modern machinery, there will be lots of local craft stalls and shopping opportunities, and you can even enter your dog into the dog show! It is a great family day out, with children under 16 yrs free of charge, free children’s entertainment and free parking on the show site too.
Held in the beautiful Tichborne Park, by kind permission of the Tichborne Estate and Grange Farm Partnership, the show attracts thousands of visitors every year and raises much needed funds for local groups, organisations and charities. In the past these have included donations to the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, local Food Banks, the Rotary Club, the Alresford Pigs Association, as well as local pre-schools and schools.
