The countdown has begun for one of Hampshire’s most cherished countryside traditions. Returning on Saturday 6th September, The Alresford Show, organised by the Alresford & District Agricultural Society, offers a full day of farming fun, family entertainment and rural celebrations.
This annual event is held in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, at the beautiful Tichborne Estate. The Alresford Show is a family day out for all ages and this year’s show promises another vibrant mix of farming heritage, local food and drink, livestock competitions, rural crafts and vintage machinery. Highlights at this year’s show include Horse-boarding, BMX displays by ‘Defying Gravity’, a climbing wall and the Sheep Show!

Chairman of The Alresford Show, Charlie Corbett said…
“The Alresford Show is a celebration of everything we love about rural life – it’s an opportunity for families, farmers, and local businesses to come together and enjoy a truly unique day out. Whether you’re here for the animals, the food, the tractors or just the atmosphere, there’s something for everyone.”

With thousands of visitors expected, the show raises much needed funds for local groups, organisations and charities. The showground will be buzzing with activities from early morning until late afternoon, with free parking onsite, a variety of food outlets and plenty of open space for a picnic!
Don’t miss this unforgettable day out!
